Workflow Examples

Generic pilot examples that can be adapted after local review.

These are generic examples. They are not active internal proposals and do not imply endorsement by any employer or healthcare organization.

Example 1: Structured Ticket Drafting Assistant

Problem: Operational notes are often messy, incomplete, and hard to route.

Pattern: The assistant turns raw non-sensitive notes into a structured draft with problem statement, impact, steps already tried, missing information, and suggested routing.

Review requirement: A human confirms accuracy and removes any sensitive content before use.

Example metrics:

  • Draft time
  • Missing fields
  • Rework rate
  • User confidence

Example 2: Training Content Assistant

Problem: Training teams often need to convert reference notes into learner-facing drafts.

Pattern: The assistant creates a first draft with learning objective, audience, steps, callouts, and review questions.

Review requirement: A human validates the draft against source material and local style expectations.

Example metrics:

  • First-draft time
  • Accuracy against source notes
  • Editing time
  • Learner feedback

Example 3: Workflow Analysis Assistant

Problem: Teams need a repeatable way to identify bottlenecks in current-state work.

Pattern: The assistant maps steps, systems, handoffs, pain points, and improvement opportunities from a synthetic or de-identified workflow description.

Review requirement: Process owners validate the map and choose which recommendations are realistic.

Example metrics:

  • Number of bottlenecks identified
  • Recommendation quality
  • Time to produce current-state map
  • Actions accepted by process owners
